The purpose of the Foundation is to apply the income from the fund towards the “relief to aged persons in necessitous circumstances in Victoria”.
During the past 35 years, funding from the Ian Rollo Currie Estate Foundation has played an integral part in numerous projects ranging from the construction of homes for the elderly to providing essential funding needed for the running of health services, projects and equipment for the aged in Victoria.
To be eligible for funding from this Foundation you must be a charitable organisations based in Victoria and hold appropriate Australian Taxation Office endorsements.
As a guide, a Grant is an award of financial assistance up to the value of $50,000 which is paid immediately. A Pledge is a promise of financial assistance over the value of $50,000 which is paid within 24 months from the date of approval, subject to a signed Building Contract and Occupancy Certificate.

Application forms for both Grants & Pledges may be downloaded from this site.
Applications will be assessed twice a year with closing dates of 15 May and 15 November.
All applications should be addressed to The Philanthropy Team, The Trust Company, PO Box 361 Collins St West, Victoria 8007 and must be received on or before closing date to be considered for that round.
